Do Scientologists Have Feelings?
This post came from over on Operation Clambake, where someone said they felt
Scientologists didn't have feelings, and were empty. I thought some might
enjoy this, esp any lurkers.
If my friends mentioned at the end are reading this, my greatest love to you
both. Here ya go:
The person said:
"It`s not a good feeling, because to be empty means without feelings. A
person who feels something, is not empty. A person not in contact with his
feelings, have a hug problem. "
I answered:
errrrrrrrr...I would not say Scientologists are 'empty'. If anything, being
busy mocking up your reactive mind, you might be overly sensitive,
introverted more, worrying more, even sick more often. Those each have
feelings connected with them. Not necessarily good feelings, but they are
feelings. I found in the 30 years that I was in Scientology, if anything, I
had too much 'feeling'.... in a negative way.
It's like if you were a battery, which needed 10 volts to function. Then you
joined a group, and they convince you that the "ideal" voltage is 140.
"140?? Come on!"
They: " Well, you don't know the level we are speaking of..you've never
experienced this, nor has anyone on Earth. We'll just add a bit, and show
you how much better you feel."
They begin adding voltage, telling you all you need are 10 volts more, to do
better. People flock in when they hear you're now up to 20 volts,
congratulating you, asking about your new feelings, inviting you to write
down how much better you now feel. Sounds weird, but peer pressure is an
age-old usage within mind control.
You write out some "Win" with your new voltage, and everyone cheers, asking
you to tell more, encouraging you more.
However, soon after, you find yourself feeling weird, or bad. You mention
it. As a person, now you find yourself struggling. It's too much, but you're
told, "No..no..it's just that you are PTS or Irresponsible or
Downtone/Out Ethics or Lacking Training Etc.
You keep at it, as they add voltage. It keeps getting worse, as do you. YOU
ARE FEELING too much! You're not empty, in fact, there is now MUCH you want
to address, and you even say so. However, this isn't on the path at this
time, nor at this voltage, so you're told to just keep at it... and you do.
Years go by like this; with you trying to find this "OT" state that you're
told occurs while at this voltage. People speak often of their great
feelings, and how full they are. You even have some good feelings yourself,
for sure. However, as far as this state of "OT" you are working towards, and
enjoying the higher voltage, that's far from working right.
Yet as the years pass, you begin to notice each one who has claimed to be
"OT" looks sort of the same. It's a bit eerie, as you feel like you're on an
Island. Are you the only one noticing this?
Now you start feeling really weird, as you cannot really talk with anyone,
honestly, except your 'Auditor" who at this level, is struggling themselves
to figure out what the Hell is wrong with YOU. (And really, everyone on the
level, as we slowly piece it together, silently, of course). On OT 7 they're
a bit like the Stepford Wives.... all smiling… all looking good, but their
eyes are solid stones.
They have tons of feelings, but they're not locked up inside, they cannot
talk about them, and they begin to look like prisoners trapped inside their
own heads. None can share what really is happening.
This is a true story. Three of us were on OT 7. They had F*** us all over,
for years. "We've found out you need to re-do Grade 4, NOTS style".
"The new OT 5 Rundowns came out, and you need those". "We've found out
you're not really Clear". "You must have tons of MU"s.
go to Cramming (correction) for weeks, and then start again."
On and on. One day the three of us stood in the lobby.
We looked in each others eyes, with our honest feelings being communicated
telepathically to each other (or whatever name u want to use. No words, just
eyes expressing the feelings). The one Class 8 TOTALLY lost it, began
screaming, and they dragged her off, who knows where. We two, highly trained
and audited, looked in each other’s eyes as if to say, "THIS IS THE END! We’
ve got to get out of here, for GOOD."
We both got on planes, and left...never to return to OT 7 again. A few years
later, I left forever.
The other two have never returned.
All 3 of us are doing MUCH better now that we are free.
