Tonight I was interviewed by the BBC Radio.

It's supposed to air February 21st, 2007.

Here's what happened:

I was invited to do an interview on the BBC. I was told it's a basic "Documentary" about Scientology. Ok, fair enough.

We did the show, and they told me they'd interviewed the Scientologists. I asked, "What did they say?"

I was told the Scientologists told them how they're harmless. I laughed, thinking of my friend Keith Henson who'd just been arrested, and even more ALL the families I know who've lost their children to Scientology, the 7 families whose kids took their lives, and my many friends who were in Scientology and died WAY too young.

Then he told me Scientology had told him how they help people communicate better, and again I couldn't help but laugh, thinking of ALL of my 30 year "Friends" who haven't EVER once called and asked me, "Tory, what happened?" Also, thinking of Joel Phillips, writing endless lies about people, and refusing ever to speak to me, let alone clarify, "Is this true?" Communication?

PLEASE!

The Scientologists insisted, of course, that they were happy -- which yah, sure, when you're in a cult where you're insulated, I remember quite well feeling "Happy". What about when you begin to see the walls, and are told: "DON'T LOOK!"???

Lastly, I was shocked to hear again the Scientologists were snickering about the Xenu story, and how that's just a "Science Fiction Story". (Of course it is, but they sure don't sell it like that, and if it's "just a story"... why is it a "High Crime" to mention the word X E N U ???)

Really? Well then, give me back ALL the damned money I spent trying to "Get OT" using that very Science Fiction Story they sold as "Truth Revealed".

Uh huh! I got in http://www.xenu.net and http://www.xenutv.com as places people could go to actually READ what Hubbard said, and hear from others who had also bought these levels -- again, hopefully they'll include those.

They asked some very good questions, so we'll just have to see what all gets edited out. I got to explain Fair Game briefly, and I mentioned Keith Henson as an example, suggesting people look him up on the Net to find out the entire story.

I also got to explain who they've lied about my marriage, and IF I had this supposed affair with that millionaire; Where IS he? We all got a good laugh about that! (And no doubt Scientology/OSA will again try to pump that one. What BS!)

Since it was the BBC radio, they rented a studio here in Burbank, so I just sat down and off we went. What a delight technology is when it comes to interviews!

The interviewer was very nice, as was the producer. However, it always boils down to the editor, and since they're going to go back and get Scientology's final word, well, we'll see. I wasn't going to post about it, as I know Scientology, and they'll hammer them, doing their best to degrade much of what I've said, so we'll see. But I figured, hey, they're Scientology going to do that anyways, so I may as well make it public, and then you all can listen on Feb 21st, and decide how fair the story really is.

Hopefully they'll give a fair showing of both. Good radio, as with good journalism, shows both sides and lets the listener decide.

I trust and hope they do just that.
